Social Media Revolution a Refresh!

About a year ago the social media revolution video was huge success, giving basic insights on how social media has taken the world by storm. A year later it was time for a refresh, with new datas and how social media is changing the world, our habits and or behaviours. All the datas are based on the book Socialnomics by Erik Qualman.

This morning I came accross this impressive and quite scary tool. US consumers were pinching pennies during the recession, but their spending on virtual goods through Faceboook and iPhone Apps is still booming at an impressive rate. If you have an idea of social gaming hit me up :-)

Facebook nails foursquare to the wall

I believe that this will ultimately kill off  Foursquare over the next few years, with 150 million of the 500 million Facebook users accessing via mobile device (The vast majority coming from the states)
